Everything about buying, installing and using Forge.

About Forge

What is Forge?

Forge is a Windows desktop app for managing orders. It tracks orders from your email, builds testing profiles with Profile Builder, and makes shareable drop cards for Discord, all in one app.

Which stores does order tracking support?

Forge reads order emails from stores like Target and Pokémon Center today, with more on the way. It also picks up subscription receipts so you can track expenses next to your spend.

How does Forge read my orders?

You add your email accounts in Forge (using IMAP, usually with an app password from your email provider). Forge checks those inboxes from your PC and pulls out order confirmations, shipping updates and deliveries. Your email login is stored on your PC only.

What are drop cards?

Drop cards are images Forge makes from your own numbers (total spent, checkouts, hit rate, store counts) with your Discord name and avatar. Pick a theme and post it in your server.

Buying & access

How do I buy Forge?

Forge is sold on Whop.

  1. Buy a membership on Whop and connect your Discord account when asked.
  2. Whop gives you the Forge role in our Discord server.
  3. Download Forge and click Sign in with Discord.

I bought Forge but it says I don't have access.

Forge checks for the Forge role on your Discord account. Make sure that:

  1. You signed in to Forge with the same Discord account you connected on Whop.
  2. You've joined our Discord server (Whop usually adds you).
  3. You have the Forge role there.

Then click Check again in Forge. Still stuck? Ask in our Discord.

Can I use Forge on more than one PC?

Each membership works on 1 PC at a time. To move Forge to a new PC, sign out on the old one first, which frees up your spot. If you can't get to the old PC, it frees up on its own after 30 days without use, or contact support and we'll reset it.

What happens if my membership ends?

Forge stops letting you in once your Discord role is removed. Your data isn't deleted: it stays on your PC, and everything is there again if you renew.

Do I need internet for Forge to work?

Forge checks your membership when you sign in and every so often after. If you're offline, it keeps working for up to 24 hours. Order syncing needs internet to reach your email, of course.

Installing & updates

What do I need to run Forge?

A PC running Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit), and a Discord account. Nothing else to install.

How do I install Forge?
  1. Download the installer from our Discord server.
  2. Open Forge-Setup from your Downloads folder.
  3. Follow the installer. It adds Forge to your Start menu and desktop.
  4. Open Forge and sign in with Discord.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC". Is that safe?

Yes. Forge is new, so Windows SmartScreen doesn't recognize it yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.

Only run Forge installers from our official Discord server.

How do updates work?

Forge checks for new versions by itself and installs them for you. You don't need to download it again.

How do I uninstall Forge?

Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Forge and click Uninstall. Your data is kept in case you reinstall. To remove it too, delete the folder %APPDATA%\Forge (paste that into File Explorer's address bar).

Privacy & data

Does Forge upload my orders, profiles or email logins?

No. They're saved on your PC in %APPDATA%\Forge and aren't sent to us or anyone else. See the privacy policy for exactly what sign-in uses.

How are my profiles protected?

Your Profiles vault is encrypted with a key that Windows protects for your user account. That means no extra password, and the vault can't be opened by copying it to another computer.

How do I back up or move my data?

Copy the folder %APPDATA%\Forge somewhere safe. Keep vault.key with it: it's the key to your Profiles vault, so don't delete it.

Something went wrong. What should I send?

Send us the log file at %APPDATA%\Forge\logs\forge.log and a description of what happened. Post it in our Discord.
